Tiaan quickly rose through the ranks and became an equity director in 2015, where he heads up the general litigation division of the firm’s litigation practice group and offers a range of specialised litigation services to his clients.

After completing his LL.B degree at the University of Free State, Tiaan joined Greyvensteins Inc. as a candidate attorney in 2006. More recently, he added arbitration to his list of specialities in completing an advance programme in alternative dispute resolution at the University of Pretoria. He is looking forward to expanding his practice by offering his services as arbitrator both locally and nationally.

Tiaan’s litigation practice serves both his profound respect for the rule of law and his inherent passion to help people. For Tiaan, the secret to success in the legal profession is an ethical approach to practising law and being in tune with the needs of his clients. He also subscribes to setting the standard in service delivery and aims to represent clients in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

The complex nature of the many matters Tiaan is involved in means that he works closely with colleagues in other departments to provide clients with a one-stop service.

A farm boy at heart, Tiaan relishes in the outdoors and enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time. He looks forward to having his toddler son join in this family tradition soon.
