Yolande is a Director in the property practice group of Greyvensteins Inc. after rising through the ranks from Article Clerk to Associate, with previous work experience and robust organisational skills that have stood her in good stead in the property practice group at the firm. This, coupled with her work ethic, ensures that Yolande’s clients receive the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Even at school level, Yolande excelled academically by matriculating as the dux learner of her school in the early 1990’s. Yolande went on to obtain her B.Com (Law) and B.Com (Honours) industrial relations degrees at the then University of Port Elizabeth. After graduating, she joined ABSA Trust where she administered deceased estates. During this time, she obtained her diploma in insolvency law and practice from the University of Pretoria. She then joined Meyprop Property Group where she was appointed as a property manager and was responsible for all matters pertaining to rental properties, inter alia, annual rental budgets, negotiating and drafting leases and renewal of leases.

In 2002, she joined TFMC as a property specialist and was tasked with managing Telkom’s entire rental property portfolio along the South African coast. During her time at TFMC, she obtained her LL.B degree through the University of South Africa. Yolande attended the School for Legal Practice Night School. Through this course, Yolande was recognised academically, finishing amongst the top three students in her class. She was also recognised for her leadership abilities, receiving a certificate for outstanding performance in leadership. Yolande also achieved the top overall performance in several of the course modules. During this time she also completed her conveyancing qualification.

Yolande believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making time for family and friends. As part of her daily routine, Yolande makes time for swimming in order to ‘recharge her batteries’. In her downtime, she enjoys camping and hiking with her two very busy young boys. She is proud to be part of this dynamic firm with its strong social responsibility focus.
